Free and Open to the public. Nature Discovery Walks will start at Wallowa Lake Lodge and proceed to nearby trails. Walks may start on the Lodge grounds for those who prefer a gentle short excursion. Learn about the nesting eagles, the flora & fauna, the kokanee and "Wally" The Wallowa Lake monster! This initial walk will take 15-30 min, depending on the group, and then proceed to nearby trails. The total time will be about 2 hours in length, so please bring water, snacks and good walking shoes. A hiking pole is always advisable. No dogs, please, on lodge grounds. Hike difficulty level will be "Easy to Moderate" depending on the group. Led by Judy Swank
